Certified Apartment Manager

A CAM certification is recommended for community managers and experienced assistant managers. Topics of discussion include resident retention and maintaining a positive company image, customer service and issue resolution, working with contractors and suppliers, employee orientation, training, evaluation, accounting principles and practices, and maximizing net operating income.

Certified Apartment Leasing professional

A CALP certification is recommended for leasing consultants, concierge, and career changers with hospitality, retail, and customer service experience. Topics of discussion include using technology to generate traffic, applying fair housing law and communicating rental criteria, move-in process, responding to resident issues, maximizing revenue and operational efficiency, and creating effective marketing plans.

Certified Pool and Spa Operator

A CPO certification is recommended for those who operate and/or maintain swimming pools and spas. Swimming pool and spa operators are obligated to the public to provide clean, safe, and healthy facilities that are for public use. Topics of discussion include the newest state and local codes filtration systems, year-round maintenance, renovations, water chemistry, and sanitizers.
